What is Funding Rate?
In perpetual futures, traders on the dominant side pay the other side every 8 hours. High positive rate means too many longs are paying — historically precedes sharp corrections. Negative rate means shorts are paying — historically precedes squeezes upward.
📚 How Each Strategy Works
ST+EMA — Supertrend + EMA Confirmation
Fires when Supertrend flips direction on a 15-minute candle AND EMA9 > EMA21 > EMA50 (bullish) or inverse (bearish). Double confirmation eliminates most false signals in sideways markets. Same logic as AKTV Sniper on NIFTY/SENSEX.
RSI — Relative Strength Index Extreme
RSI below 30 on 1-hour candles = oversold, historically precedes reversals upward. RSI above 70 = overbought, historically precedes corrections. For Gold, uses 15-minute candles for faster signals. Resets when RSI returns to neutral 35-65 zone.
PDH/PDL — Previous Day High/Low (Gold only)
Yesterday's High and Low are the strongest daily reference levels. When Gold breaks above PDH with momentum, institutional buying is likely. Break below PDL signals institutional selling. Same principle as AKTV Sniper's most successful strategy (72.5% win rate on NIFTY).
Funding Rate Extreme (Coming Soon)
When BTC/ETH perpetual funding rate exceeds +0.1% or drops below -0.05%, the market is overleveraged on one side. Historical data shows 70%+ reversal probability within the next 2-3 candles. This is crypto's unique indicator with no equivalent in Indian F&O markets.
