📖 How to Read Signal Performance

AKTV Sniper automatically generates real-time options trading signals for NIFTY 50 and SENSEX using three proven technical strategies. This page tracks every signal fired since launch with complete entry and exit data.

Win Rate counts a signal as successful only when the option premium gains at least 10 points after the signal fires. This threshold accounts for brokerage, STT, and slippage — ensuring only meaningful profits are counted as wins.

Avg Return is the average multiple of max premium reached vs entry premium across all winning signals. A 1.81x return means the option premium reached 81% above the entry price on average.

Max Price Reached is the highest option LTP observed after the signal fired, tracked live every 45 seconds. It is not necessarily the price at market close — it represents the best exit opportunity available intraday.

📊 Strategy Explanations

ORB — Opening Range Breakout
The first 30 minutes of trading (9:15–9:45 AM) define the Opening Range. A breakout above the high signals bullish momentum; below the low signals bearish. ORB is the most common intraday strategy used by professional traders globally. AKTV combines ORB with volume and EMA confirmation to reduce false signals.
ST — Supertrend (15m)
Supertrend is a trend-following indicator built on Average True Range (ATR). AKTV uses 15-minute candles to identify when the market trend changes direction. A flip from bearish to bullish generates a CE signal; bullish to bearish generates a PE signal. Supertrend signals fire throughout the trading day, not just at open.
PDH/PDL — Previous Day Levels
Previous Day High (PDH) and Previous Day Low (PDL) are key institutional reference levels. When price breaks above PDH, it signals institutional buying interest. When it breaks below PDL, institutional selling pressure is dominant. These levels work because large traders place orders at round numbers and previous session extremes.

⚠️ Risk Management Guidelines

Position Sizing: Never risk more than 1–2% of your trading capital on a single signal. Even a 94% win rate means losses will occur. Size positions so one loss does not significantly impact your portfolio.

Stop Loss: Exit the option position if premium falls 40–50% below your entry price. AKTV signals are not guaranteed — always define your maximum acceptable loss before entering any trade.

VIX Filter: AKTV Sniper only fires signals when India VIX is below 19. High volatility environments increase option premium unpredictability. The VIX filter protects against entering during extreme market stress.

Time Decay: Options lose value as expiry approaches. Signals fired on expiry day carry higher risk due to accelerated time decay (theta). Treat expiry day signals with extra caution and tighter stop losses.

⚠️ Educational reference only. Past signal performance does not guarantee future results. Max premium reached is the highest option price observed after signal, not necessarily at close. Not SEBI registered investment advice. Always trade with proper risk management.
